Dr Asif Ahmed is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with three decades of international mental health experience across Australia, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, India, and the Armed Forces.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and currently serves as a Senior Staff Specialist in Queensland.

Dr Ahmed formerly a veteran, Surgeon Captain (Retd), served as Senior Adviser in Psychiatry in the Indian Navy, where he provided distinguished specialist mental health care to service personnel and their families, including high-pressure and operational environments. His military background has shaped his calm, structured, and resilient approach to complex mental health challenges.

He is known for his warm, respectful, and culturally sensitive care, helping patients and families feel understood, supported, and empowered in their recovery.
